A series of five plaques commissioned by the Institute of National Remembrance for a nationwide celebration of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Free Trade Unions in Gdansk.
The plaques commemorate well-deserved WZZ activists. The official unveiling ceremony was made by the President of the Institute of National Remembrance, Dr. Jarosław Szarek, with the participation of representatives of the families: Maria Płońska, Maciej Miatkowski, Henryk Lenarciak and Stanisław Kowalski.
