Window 13 - I believe in the resurrection of the body.

19 November 2015

I believe in the resurrection of the body.

Stained glass windows as a pictorial Credo, an expression of the faith in One God, His Only Son and the Holy Spirit. And also in His sanctifying actions that lead us to the salvation and eternal life. "And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you." (Romans 8, 11)
"And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. /.../But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep." (1 Corinthians, 14-19) "Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11, 25)
