Window 1 Scene 6 -The Return of the Prodigal Son

Once the son came close to his father?s home, his father had seen him coming and ran to him with open arms: ?But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him." (Luke 15,20) Emaciated figure of returning son, throwing his arms around his father represents all of us. The father, holding his child is giving him a sense of security. It reflects tenderness of God toward his children on Earth. "To them I was like one who lifts a little child to the cheek" (Hosea 11,4)

In the upper side of the window Christ with his humble posture is knocking on the door: "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me." (Revelation 3,20) In the upper right part, Christ is sitting at a wine-laden table and holding in his arms those who opened their hearts.
